I started training at 15½ years old—and, to be honest, it was because of a girl. In high school, I was awkward, struggled with acne, and had zero confidence. Lifting became my way out. It gave me structure, built my self-esteem, and completely changed how I carried myself.
At 19, I took things to the next level, competing in my first bodybuilding competition in the Teen Physique category—and walked away with a 1st place trophy. That same year, I competed two more times, proving to myself what was possible with the right training and mindset.
In 2020, just one month before the pandemic, I left my job at Cal State Fullerton to become a full-time coach. Why? Because I saw the problem firsthand—people in public gyms were being charged ridiculous prices for mediocre training and getting nowhere. I knew I could offer something better.
